Živogošće is a village that consists out of 3 even smaller villages located right on the coast: Blato, Porat and Duba. If you're looking to spend your vacation in Živogošće and you appreciate good room service, internet access and cable television, then you have two hotels to choose from: Nimfa and Punta. Both of these hotels in Živogošće have an exceptionally developed service and infrastructure that is commendable considering this is a small village of barely 500 residents.

The Nimfa Hotel in Živogošće has a tennis court and both an open and closed pool. All 650 rooms are air-conditioned and cleaned on a daily basis. If you are looking for a nightclub in Živogošće, there are two of them in the aforementioned hotels so you're in luck. However, the fun doesn't stop there because the Dole Auto camp in Živogošće provides for additional tennis courts, a biking and hiking path, and popular water sports are available for your own personal pleasure as well.

There are no private beaches in Živogošće; all of them are public. However, the two hotels that do have beaches in their vicinity take care of them as if they were their own. The rest of the beaches are scattered all over the place and are mostly pebbly. Out of the restaurants in Živogošće, do try and book a table at the beach restaurant in Hotel Punta, it is known to serve phenomenal dishes based on fish and shells. Top that with a couple of glasses of wine and you're destined to have a grand night out.

If you're one of those people that like to have an active life choose a vacation in Živogošće. The amount of activities there will surely surpass your expectations. Other than classical activities such as tennis, basketball and volleyball there are types of entertainment in Živogošće which are much more suitable for the Dalmatian mentality. These easygoing activities include bocce (an autochthone sport which revolves around throwing iron balls around a small ball at the end of a long court, the winner being the person who throws the ball closest to the central ball). Then there is miniature golf, which is perfect for people who want to enjoy some sort of activity but are too lazy to actually do something about it.

Oh, and if you stumble upon an overbooked hotel or a holiday villa in Živogošće with no available rooms, don't worry because there is always the local auto camp which will provide you with accommodation in a natural environment.
