Tkon is the oldest settlement on the island of Pašman dating back from the first century BC. Residents of Tkon are mainly engaged in agriculture, fishing and tourism and there are approximately 700 of them. If you were looking for some unspoiled nature combined with lots of delicious Mediterranean food then Tkon is the place you were looking for.

Tourist agencies will assist you with private accommodation, and other offers such as hiring a boat, a bicycle or a scooter, and there are also excursions to national parks that occur on a daily basis.
Besides the nudist camp Sovinje in Tkon there are two private camp sites Adriana and Brist, as well as neighboring Ugrinic Oliva and Pinija. They are located in the shade of the olive trees and pine forests near beautiful beaches. On the north side of the island all beaches are sandy. From the point Ugrinić over Tkon to the south there are seven sandy coves that stretch along 3 km. Public beaches are Vruljica, Južnja and Ugrinić.
The south side of the island is rugged and steep terrain that is uninhabited, but consists of private land, mostly olive groves. Due to the distance of the village, especially during the olive harvest, residents have built small stone houses, which are now used for commercial purposes. Each house is located directly on the beach, surrounded by olive and fig trees, with its own port and dock. Each of them has their own supply of energy (solar or gas) and water (from the tank - collecting rainwater). This is ideal for folks who want to relax in solitude, separated from the rest of the world, enjoying a moment in the traditional way of life on the island.
