Accommodation in Croatia

If you are planning to cook your own food during your Holidays in Croatia, you might want to know the retail price of food in Croatia. As the prices of course vary depending on where you shop, we have decided to make a shopping basket consisting of food and beverages which most people would shop during their holidays. 

The intention of this list is not display the whole food price range in Croatia, as this would be literally impossible at least on a non profit based. The Shopping based is more a guideline, which should reflect the general food price development in Croatia. The prices stated in the list below are based on prices from the supermarket Lidl. The prices for similar product will for sure vary if you shop in other supermarkets or in kiosk. (NOTE this is not a commercial for LIDL and we have no financial interesting in choosing them, Lidl is simply the place we normally do our shopping). 

In the table we state the price, either per unit (of a specific size) or per kilo if that seems a more useful way to track the prices. Every third month we will update the pricelist, we will buy exactly the same products and will only state the regular price, (ignoring if any of the product should be on sale). If one of the products is not available anymore, we will find a similar product and add a note to the table to ensure full transparency.
