Cigarettes are fairly cheep in Croatia, compared to most EU countries, although there have been some considerable tax increases over the last years. Cigarettes can be bought in kiosk, petrol stations and in Supermarket. Normally the most frequented bars and discotheques also have a small selection of cigarettes.

Cigarette Allowance Croatia:

If you are travelling from within EU, you are allowed to bring the following quantity of cigarettes back home. (From non EU states, please check with you national custom office)

 

200 cigarettes, or 100 cigarillos, or 50 cigars, or 250g of tobacco

Tax free cigarettes:

 

Tax free cigarettes e.g. bought in the airport are still a bit cheaper than cigarettes bought in regular shops. Savings vary depending on brand.
